Powered by Translate Kollam: Arrest or surrender of PDP leader Abdul Nasser Madani in the Bangalore blasts case is expected to take place Tuesday as the deadline for execution of the warrant issued by a Bangalore court is to expire by this evening.
Political pressure is also mounting on Kerala's LDF government to facilitate the Karnataka police to carry out the legal process.
After a meeting with Joint Commissioner of Bangalore Police Alok Kumar in the state capital last night, Kerala's IG (southern range) Hemachandran made it clear that the "warrant would be executed".
This assurance came after Karnataka Home Minister V S Acharya openly put the blame for the delay in the matter on the Kerala government.
Though reconciled to the reality, the PDP leadership is still weighing the options before them -- whether to yield to the arrest or surrender before a nearby court.
