Microsoft’s initiative to fight software piracy CHENNAI: Microsoft India has launched a new consumer-led education and enforcement initiative to reduce the menace of piracy. The new initiative, Consumer Action Day, aims to protect consumers from the risks and perils of pirated and counterfeit software and educate the consumers by reporting instances of software piracy, says a release.
