Bindra, Narang win first Gold for India at CWG

NEW DELHI: Abhinav Bindra and Gagan Narang on Tuesday bagged Gold for the men's 10 m air rifle pair's event, getting India its first gold in the 19th Commonwealth Games. The duo brought the accolades to India with a new Games record of 119. The England pair of James Huckle and Kenny Parr was a distant second with 1174 points, while Bangladesh's Abdullah Hel Baki and Mohammad Asif Hossain Khan took the bronze at 1173. Meanwhile Bindra's father speaks exclusively to TIMES NOW and said he was very proud of his son as well as of Narang. In another event, Sanjay Kumar entered into the final of Greco-Roman 74kg wrestling.
