Salman Khans sea-facing flat in Worli sold for Rs 6 crore

MUMBAI: Actor Salman Khan has reportedly sold his 1,650-sq ft apartment in the Sterling Seaface building at Worli for over Rs 6 crore. Perched on the ninth floor with a scenic view of the Arabian Sea, the three-bedroom-hall-kitchen flat was sold along with two car parking slots. The identity of the buyer is yet to be known. Salman is now looking out for buyers for a similar sized flat on the sixth floor of the same 14-storey building. Scriptwriter and Salmans father Salim Khan confirmed that they had almost concluded the deal. I would not like to reveal the buyers identity. There is nothing surprising in the sale. I had bought the flats on behalf of Salman, but he does not want to leave Bandra. So, I have to sell the flats and will have to invest in an apartment at Bandra, said Khan, declining to divulge the value of the flat. Khan-on behalf of Salman-has apparently invested an undisclosed amount in an old building on Carter Road in Bandra and he plans to get the house redeveloped. However, he denied the development. I keep buying homes for all my children. The report of purchasing an entire building is not true. We already had about three flats in Starlet building on Carter Road. The building was into redevelopment and we were asked to pay the construction cost. But there was a problem as some people objected to the redevelopment, said Khan.
